The Point Milk Bar, is the sequal if you like, to its big sister AustiBeach Café in Austinmer. Situated on Point Street Bulli, it started trading in November 2009, in it’s current revamped form. Previous to this, past owners ran it successfully as a Fish and Chip Shop, come corner store for many years. The Point now combines the old with the new, where you can still pick up the bread, paper and milk. Otherwise you can sit down and have a beautiful meal, lovingly put together from one of our qualified chefs, indulge in one of our homemade gelato, or just simply revitalise the senses with a great espresso coffee. We even left Milk Bar in its name to reflect the shop’s original past.
Adrian and Mina Naccari its founders, saw a need for a local coffee shop to capture both the traditional market, with the new emerging market that has come about with the Sandon Point development. In the future we would like to open nights, or even offer the shop as a venue for your next special occasion. This will allow you, family and friends to have the whole place to yourself and a menu can be customised to the tastes of you and your invited guests.
The Point Milk Bar is a little nook amongst suburbia that offers a friendly refuge from every one’s busy lives, or a place to compliment people’s outdoor and social activities. We are only a hop skip and a jump away from the cycle way.
We pride ourselves on not only offering great meals, treats and coffees, but also friendly, attentive and personalised customer service. This is all headed up by our friendly Café Managers, Ness and Deb. All of our team are wonderful, there is Josh, Gabby, and Teika then Nathan, Adam, James and Chris in the kitchen.
We all hope you drop by soon and see for yourself what a great little jewel this is in Sandon Point Crown.
